General Summary
As the winter snows recede in the North and North East, the Icelandic landscape bursts into life allowing us an exceptional opportunity to photograph a abundant array plant life against a backdrop of snow streaked mountains, remote fjords, serene fishing villages, magnificent waterfalls and colorful geothermal areas.
This holiday has been designed for those of us who love to take photographs in nature’s wild and inaccessible places; despite the remoteness of some of our locations we have endeavored to ensure that they are easily accessible in our exclusive and sturdy 4×4 transport so ensuring that all the guests will have equal opportunities to take some fine images every day regardless their levels of fitness. Hotels are not always available in some of our remote locations so we will be accommodated throughout in comfortable local guesthouses; our hosts are generally more familiar with the strange hours that photographers keep when working in the long Icelandic summer light.
Geraldine will be joined our enthusiastic and experienced flower photography tutor, Gail Parker.
Be warned, Iceland is addictive. Once you’ve visited this incredible landscape you’ll find yourself returning year after year.
