General Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity to photograph in a landscape of snow-streaked mountains, volcanoes, magnificent coastal scenery, remote fjords, serene fishing villages, mighty waterfalls, azure blue crater lakes and colourful geothermal areas. In times gone by and not so very long ago, boats, trails over the impressive cliff tops and through wild mountain scenery were the only means that the Icelandic people had to connect the tiny fishing villages of Iceland’s East coast.

As we re-trace the steps of these hardy folk we will be able to experience and photograph in some seldom visited and very special locations; a complete and ground breaking holiday for those who enjoy combining photography with walking in order to get those ‘off the beaten track’ landscape shots.
