Sam Beresford
Sam Beresford, photographer, horsewoman and chef was raised in Ireland and Spain giving her a love of travel from a young age. She has had a passion and an eye for photography since her early teens. Whilst canoeing on the lakes in Ontario, Canada, she discovered an ability to share some wonderful, fleeting moments with others through her images.
Sam went on to study photography at Florence university and also qualified as a ‘Cordon Bleu’ chef. She has subsequently travelled and worked professionally as both a chef and photographer in various parts of the world. During her 15 years living in Sydney she catered for Nike at the Sydney Olympics whilst also having two photographic exhibitions there. She has exhibited in Florence, and will shortly exhibit in Ireland where she has lived for the past twenty years with her three children, Ruby, Charlie & Phonsie.
A photographer, horsewoman and adventurer at heart, Sam recently enjoyed solo photographic journeys including Norway, Iceland, Alaska. horse trekking in Spain and mustering cattle in Australia. Sam has lived in Ireland for the past twenty years and raised three children.
“Photography is an integral part of my person. I love to be able to share what I see in nature with others which I do through my images and my joy is to share them with others”.
